Early Rear Brake Shoes

Be sure to inspect your old shoes carefully and match them to the photo.  Each brake in the early style has two different shoes.  "Late" Brake Shoes are also available, here.

These shoes are sold in exchange. We need your rebuildable old shoes to proceed.   We have two options available:

  1) Ship us your cores and we will send out a refurbished set when we receive yours.  No core charge.

  2) Pay a core charge, we will send out a refurbished set right away, and we will refund the core charge (less $10 banking fees) when you return your old set.  Yes, our core charges are high, and it is because we really need your cores back.

Unfortunately, many customers in the past have not been returning their cores, but rather chose to keep them and forfeit the lower core charges.  This is an obvious problem, so we have had to raise the core charges.  Apologies for the inconvenience.
