Stock, Lead Times, and Part Fitment

We make every attempt to stock most items in our store, though some we necessarily manufacture or source to order. That generally can take 1-3 weeks. Typical lead times if any are indicated for each product. If we anticipate lead times longer, we will notify you via email.

We indicate what vehicle models our parts are known to fit. However, parts may also fit other models. Please let us know what you find to be the case. If you need a part and are not sure if it fits, please ask us and we'll research it as best as possible. We have part catalogs for most models and can compare OEM part numbers.


Shipping Responsibility: We ship items using USPS, UPS, or FedEx, using scannable computer printed labels to the address provided by the customer, and suitable packaging.  All items are shipped "FOB", meaning "Freight on Board".  That means once an item is in the possession of one of these services and we provide you a tracking number, we no longer carry any responsibility for the arrival of the shipment.  This can be particularly important in the case of typos in the address customers provide, or delays in shipping due to Covid-19 issues or other circumstances.  Please not as well that for international shipping, items often are transferred from a US shipper to one that serves the customer's region, and at that point tracking may become difficult.  Items may also be held in customs.   Please be sure you  are familiar with shipping issues to your destination.

Our policy is to assist customers in resolving shipping issues, and in some cases such as USPS Priority Mail, there is some insurance on the package that comes with the service.  However, we cannot issue refunds to customers without receiving the items back if shipping is slow or otherwise dissatisfactory due to no fault of ours.

Most orders ship within 2-3 days or less, for stock items. We offer free shipping for orders over $30 in the USA, and there is a $6 flat fee for orders less than that. We generally ship with USPS first class or priority mail (depending on weight), but you may select other options (paid) at checkout.

For international orders, we charge $35 flat fee, except some heavy items may have a surcharge that will be added to your cart. In rare cases, international shipping can be extremely expensive, in which case we will contact you to work out a shipping solution. If your order is very small and light, i.e. capable of being send as a first class letter, we will refund you any excess shipping charges.

You will receive an email with tracking information when your order ships.


Returns are accepted within 21 days of when your order is marked as received as per tracking, but there is a 15% restocking charge to cover our costs. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense. Return items must be in NEW condition, i.e. they must not have been installed or modified in any way.

For items where we are at fault, such as a defect or wrong part was sent, we will send you a return shipping label and rectify the situation as appropriate on a case by case basis.

Refunds will be issued via the Paypal payment platform and should go back to your original funding source (e.g. your credit card, etc). If you wish to maintain a credit for future purchases from us, we can do that too. Just let us know.


Core charges are applicable in some cases.  Cores are used parts that we rebuild. Sometime we have rebuilt cores in stock and can ship them immediately, but in some cases we need your core. Please plan accordingly. Core charges are refunded when we receive your core, which must be in rebuildable condition. Rust and corrosion are generally okay, but broken cores, such as cracked, stripped threads, or broken castings, are not.

In some cases we charge substantial core charges, but we also give customers the option of avoiding the core charge by sending their core to us before we ship the refurbished component. In the past, some customers simply have not returned cores because it was not worth it to them, and this is an obvious problem to us.  For that reason we have implemented this core charge policy. Please return your cores.

Labor on cores and rebuilds: Please send your components disassembled, except where disassembly is included in the service. Components that are not sent disassembled will incur an additional labor charge at the shop rate of $110/hr, plus any additional shipping costs to return your extra parts. We are not responsible for damage to any parts that occurs during disassembly (example: broken brittle plastic pieces).

Replating Services

Replating services require a minimum $250 order. We can combine orders with those of other customers if you don't mind waiting, though we cannot guarantee any lead times. Please indicate your preference in the comments box at checkout.
